2022
”THE UNKNOWING”
This 2022 series was the beginning of a new material “Yarn” as my primary medium. It began showing up earlier in 2020 as a detail in my art works. I became interested in the non-narrative and put my efforts into the material, its form and style, line and overall color. Using canvas as it’s support and focusing on small sizes, this series was the start of a continuous connection I would have with yarn and crochet and eventually the realization that this material was part of a bigger connection to my family and my heritage.
